Introduction

FERRO Legal is a law firm providing a high standard of legal services to entrepreneurs in the rapidly developing areas of technology, IP/IT and e-commerce. As start-ups grow, they need different types of legal services as well as different protections and safeguards. At FERRO Legal, we aim to understand the businesses of our clients in order to effectively cover their day-to-day legal agendas and to find solutions to the new problems they face.

Since the establishment of FERRO Legal in 2014, not only have we facilitated the growth of one of the fastest growing SaaS companies in Central Europe, provided daily legal services to various game studios, advised a successful fashion e-commerce business but we have also assisted a private equity fund with its investment activities.  

While we focus on covering the Czech and Slovak market, the areas of law we specialise in need a global approach and we have built up professional relationships with several European, UK and US law firms enabling us to provide comprehensive services to our clients.

Štefan Šurina

Štefan specialises in IT/IP, Data Protection, M&A and corporate structuring. Before he established FERRO Legal in 2014, he worked at Deloitte Legal Prague, where he was primarily responsible for IT/IP related advisory work and M&A. Stefan holds degrees in Law and Computer Science from Charles University.

Ondřej Stříbný

Ondřej focuses on the various facets of law that revolve around joint venture investments, corporate structuring, M&A and financing. Prior to joining FERRO Legal, he worked in the Banking & Finance and Real Estate departments of Clifford Chance and experienced both corporate and civil practice at Vilimková, Dudák & Partners.

Miroslava Kuklincová

Miroslava specialises mainly in IP/IT law, commercial law and personal data protection. Prior to joining FERRO Legal, she was leading teams focused on IP law and competition law at Deloitte Legal, Czech Republic. She has extensive experience in providing complex legal advice and support in contractual negotiations and regulatory matters to various clients, including technology, distribution and consumer retail business companies.

Gabriela Holíková

After her graduation from The Masaryk University, Gabriela worked as an associate at the Prague law firm AK RHK, s.r.o. In order to deepen her legal knowledge, Gabriela then completed an LL.M. and obtained foreign experience in programmes focused on IP protection at Leibniz University in Hannover and the University of Oslo. After her return to the Czech Republic, she joined FERRO Legal focusing on IT/IP Law, Company Law and Data Protection.

Katarína Jurkovičová

Katarina specialises in Data Protection, IT/IP and commercial law. She gained experience in data protection while working for the Office for personal data protection in Bratislava. Thereafter, she focused on civil and commercial matters at Heringeš&Veverka. She joined FERRO Legal in 2017, after she had completed her LL.M. in International Business Law at King's College in London.

Helen Ouens

Helen specialises in commercial, employment and construction law, start-ups in the Russian market and contract management. Before joining Ferro-Legal in 2018, she worked at concession international projects such as Pulkovo Airport, West High-Speed Diameter and the Moscow – St. Petersburg Highway (Russia), where she was the head of the legal department responsible for legal affairs and litigation.

Hana Pultznerová

Since 2017 Hana has been a part-time member of our team responsible for providing comprehensive legal services to clients covering all aspects of company, corporate finance and commercial law. Emil Maťko

Emil holds degree in Law from the Comenius University in Bratislava and continues his studies on the Faculty of Management at the same university. He has previous experience in various ventures and as a legal trainee in Wolf Theiss. Emil focuses on general corporate law and corporate governance and his advice also includes aspects of corporate finance and commercial law.

Enriko Maliňák

Enriko is a graduate of the faculty of law of Comenius University in Bratislava. Enriko focuses on business in general whether it is contract or corporate law with keen interest in numbers. He previously worked as an intern in White and Case and also completed a brief tenure as an investment/business analyst. He is fascinated by psychology, human relationships and new developments. Enriko values honesty and loyalty but most importantly, he loves football and his family and friends.
